The webinar training on Gender and DRM took place on 25 August with 28 participants (12 men and 16 women) from 8 Southern and Eastern countries.  This training forms part of the implementation of the ARC´s Gender Strategy and has contributed to equipping participants to develop gender action plans for Member states in line with the principles of ARC’s Gender Strategy. The action plans will include key activities such as conducting gender analyses, Technical Working Groups training sessions on Gender and DRM, setting up of Gender, Advocacy and Communications subgroups, engaging in policy dialogue and setting up of a Training of Trainers Network on Gender and DRM. At the end, participants were encouraged to share the training within the countries technical working groups and submit concrete plans for gender mainstreaming activities to be budgeted for 2021 ARC workplan.
