Madagascar Gender and DRM Training of Trainers
The two-day Training of Trainers was attended by members of the Technical Working group, representing different ministries, development partners, and civil organizations.
The average attendance was 35 persons.
The training was engaging, considering the discussions in group work and the plenary. Using the training manual, the consultant could also leverage her knowledge of the Gender and DRM landscape in Madagascar.
The session was a good start in terms of establishing the ToT network, building from platforms, and already existing initiatives with partners working in the gender and DRM landscape in Madagascar. Continuous exchanges and the creation of a WhatsApp group were encouraged to enable the trainees to take forward discussions.
The establishment of the Gender and Advocacy sub-group within the TWG was already initiated and more tools were provided for the consolidation of this initiative.
The training culminated in the awarding of certificates to participants.
